Lasha Davitadze

Lasha Davitadze has been actively working in the military since 2004. In 2020, he became the head of the Head of the  Military Strategy and Force Planning Division, J 5 Strategic Planning Department, General Staff of the Georgian Defense Forces, Ministry of Defense of Georgia.

Lasha received his higher education in history, social sciences, national security and public policy.

In 2020 was actively engaged in the COVID 19 prevention measures as a Battalion Commander.  In 2019 (15 Apr-23 Nov) Commanding Officer of the 43rd Infantry Battalion in the NATO led Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan.

 

Furthermore:

  • In 2018 was commanding the first Battalion that participated in the Georgian Defense Readiness Program (GDRP).
  • In 2008 was participating in the Georgian-Russian war.
  • Invited speaker at several Professional Military Education institutions in Georgian Defence Forces.
