    Round table on: “Global Constitutionalism and Legal Framework for Social Media”

    Virtual reality coexists with real world and digital constitutionalism should address the challenges of digital world. Nowadays in Georgia, such as globally desinformation is actual issue.

    The round table implies discussing following issues:

    • What is done in Goergia to stop the desinformation wave and who are engaged regarding this issue.
    • What can be mechanisms to solve digital desinformation problem (Receipt of legal frames, government regulations, media literacy)
    • What type of activities are implemented by the Israel digital diplomacy department Speakers:

    Professor Ingold Pernis – Former Director of Walter Hallstein Institute of European Constitutional Law, Professor of Berlin Humboldt university of public Law, Professor of International Law and European Law, former member of Euro commission „European Forum on environment Protection and Sustainable Development“, Founder of Walter Hallstein Institute, the host of lecturer series Forum Constitutionis Europae” (FCE) and “Humboldt-Reden zu Europa” (HRE). DFG – Master program “Verfassung jenseits des Staates” (Constitution beyond the government) Leader, author of 12 scientific publications, contributor of 16 books.

    Kuriel Ifta – the Director of the Ministry of Israel Foreign Affairs Digital Diplomacy Department, Head of scientific mission D-Mars (Desert Mars Analog Ramon Station), former speaker of Israel embassy in London, former Head Public Diplomacy department at Israel Embassy in Buenos-Aires, former Deputy of Israel Ambassador in Adis Aba (Ethiopia), the Master of Liberal Arts and Science (Liberal studies).

    Zaza Tsotniashvili – Academician of the Georgian Academy of Educational Sciences, Political expert of Romualdo Del Bianco International Foundation, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Former Rector at Gori State Teaching University, Full Professor at David Aghmashenebeli University. He is the author of 3 monography, 27 scientific articles, more than 20 publications, he is also translator, leads academic courses in folk, Georgian literature, history of journalism, analysis of political conflicts and basics of management.

    Moderator: Nini Shengelia – Head of Center of Digital Democracy, Fellow at Sector 3 and specialist of social media law, representative of International Teaching University of Management and Communication “ALTERBRIDGE”.
