Nino Kitoshvili

Education

Nino Qitoshvili earned her Doctoral degree in Applied Social Psychology in 2024 after defending her dissertation at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She also holds two Master’s degrees: one in Law (University of Georgia, 2016) and another in Applied Social Psychology (TSU, 2013). From 2007 to 2011, she completed her Bachelor’s studies in Social Sciences at Tbilisi State University.

Professional Experience

Since 2024, Nino Qitoshvili has served as an Associate Professor at Alterbridge University. She also holds Associate Professor positions at Alte University and the Georgian International University (GIU). Since 2023, she has been a trainer and researcher at Bunebare Forest Kindergarten.

Her previous roles include serving as the Head of the Bachelor’s Program in Psychology at the International Black Sea University (2023–2024). She has also worked as an Assistant at the University of Georgia, a trainer at the Institute of Inclusive Education, and a visiting lecturer at Caucasus University, Grigol Robakidze University, and other institutions. Early in her career, she worked as a psychologist in the penitentiary system and in various non-governmental organizations.

Scientific Work and Grants

Nino Qitoshvili is the author and principal investigator of multiple international and local research projects and grants. She has received research funding from the Rustaveli Foundation, the University of Georgia, and the National University, as well as an international scientific mobility grant.

Her research interests cover criminology, social and legal psychology, alternative methods in early and school education, gender studies, and the ethical-legal dimensions of artificial intelligence. She has authored numerous scientific articles and conference papers.

Academic Engagement

Nino Qitoshvili is a member of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP) and serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals. She actively collaborates with both Georgian and international scholars, including partners from universities in the United States and Europe.
