Alterbridge University has become the winner of the European Union’s 2025 ERASMUS+ CBHE (Capacity Building in Higher Education) competition.

The project “Enhancing Research and Innovation Capacities in Georgian Higher Education Institutions” (ERIC-GE) will contribute to strengthening international cooperation and expanding academic opportunities.

It represents a significant platform for the consortium’s participating higher education institutions to advance the research potential of academic staff, attract young researchers, and conduct research activities in line with European standards.

Project – “Teachers as the Bridge to Better Citizens” (TBBC)

The project “Teachers as the Bridge to Better Citizens” was implemented at Alterbridge University in 2024 with the support of the U.S. Embassy.

The project redefines the teacher’s role as a leader and change-maker, reflecting Alterbridge University’s mission of linking education with civic responsibility. It was developed based on needs assessment and international best practices, and is fully aligned with the national curriculum and professional standards for teacher development.

The project involved 39 private schools from the Samegrelo and Imereti regions, laying the foundation for its wider dissemination and integration into educational reforms.
