Alterbridge offers students various types of international exchange programs across Europe. Since its foundation, the university has been actively working to develop the internationalization of its study programs and teaching, in order to offer students a wide range of international programs and exchange opportunities.
Participation in formal and non-formal educational exchange projects helps students become competitive professionals in the global job market. Along with theoretical knowledge, students gain practical experience and build international connections for future career success.
22 December 2020 – A masterclass on Business Ethics Management was conducted for Alterbridge Master’s students by Klaus Witkun, USAID Georgia Human and Institutional Capacity Development (HICD 2020) consultant. The session covered online process management in organizations, with examples from higher education institutions.
February 2022 – Within the framework of the Erasmus+ exchange project “Stay SAFE – Digital Citizenship”, Alterbridge Master’s students and administrative staff visited Romania. The project aimed to raise awareness on digital citizenship, risks of using digital technologies in cyberspace, and proper communication through social media.
February 2022 – Alterbridge Master’s students and administration representatives participated in “Georgian Culture Days” held in Yerevan, Armenia, aimed at promoting Georgian history, culture, and traditions.
March 2022 – Master’s student of Alterbridge University took part in the Murcia Student Festival in Spain, an important step for developing interpersonal skills and future career prospects.
April 2022 – the training-masterclass “More Europe for More Opportunities” was held at Alterbridge University within the EU4Youth Alumni Network project. Participants received detailed information, advice, and recommendations about student engagement opportunities in EU-supported educational exchange programs.
May 2022 – Alterbridge administrative staff and students traveled to Naples, Italy, within the Erasmus+ short-term exchange project “Mind Your ROOTS!”.
4 June 2022 – A representative of Alterbridge’s International Department participated in the Erasmus+ project “Social Inclusion & Gender Mainstreaming” in Spain.
5 June 2022 – A cooperation memorandum was signed between Alterbridge University and the European Student Think Tank (EST), envisaging joint large-scale projects, exchange programs, and participation in international activities.
5–13 June 2022 – Two representatives of Alterbridge’s administration participated in the Erasmus+ short-term exchange project “Social Inclusion & Gender Mainstreaming for All” in Molina, Spain.
22 June 2022 – A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Alterbridge University and the Civil Service Bureau of Kazakhstan to strengthen international project involvement and support students’ career development and future employability in both public and private institutions.
25 July 2022 – A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Alterbridge University and Steinbeis University.
24 September 2022 – An Alterbridge Bachelor’s student participated in the Erasmus+ project AIR&WATER.
18 October 2022 – Alterbridge University hosted Ivana Bursikova, Director of the Czech Center, who met with program heads of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and the administrative manager. Joint targeted projects and ways of their implementation were discussed.
24 October 2022 – Alterbridge University hosted Professor Stephanie Kessgen, CEO of Steinbeis University, and Professor Gia Khubua, Head of Research and Law at the same university.
13–21 December 2022 – Alterbridge representatives participated in the Erasmus+ short-term exchange project “Greenovators Impact Lab.”
2023 – An Alterbridge student took part in the international youth exchange program Time2Act in Portugal, gaining diverse experience in critical thinking, public speaking, and communication skills.
March 2023 – Alterbridge students and administration representatives visited Chaves, Portugal, within the Erasmus+ project Peacebuilding Youth Mindfulness.
19–27 December 2023 – An Alterbridge administration representative and a student participated in the Erasmus+ short-term exchange project “Environmental Protection – Sustainable Development” in Palermo, Italy.
