Academic Integrity and Distance Learning Conference
On June 23, the city of Batumi hosted a conference on academic integrity and distant learning.
The concept for an annual conference developed as part of the “ERASMUS+” funding project “Academic integrity for excellent learning and teaching in Georgian higher educational institutions – “INTEGRITY.”
The major purpose of the conference was to share with others the experience and practices of the project’s local partners related to academic integrity preservation.
The event’s invited presenters discussed topics such as “Motivation of students in the context of distant learning” and “What variables influenced students’ motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic?” “Motivation and self-determination.”
Mariam Darbaidze, the head of Alterbridge Quality Establishment Service, was an invited speaker from Alterbridge University, who spoke about the development of academic integrity standards in the new educational institution.
The University of Alterbridge’s marketing team and quality service department prepared a film called #NoPlagiarism!
